Apprenticeships (Need advice!)
#1

Hey, and I know I have been posting a lot in the past two days and if I'm annoying you guys; I'm sorry!

If I worked as an IT Specialist during an apprenticeship, would I do the job like an employee would after been working as an IT Specialist for 5 years, for example? Would I get a computer that I would work on day-in-day-out? Or would I just do something like being on work experience and watching them do there job, and getting sent off to do deeds. Like collecting from the printer and what not? Would I get an account I would log on? If I worked as an IT Technician, after being shown all the programs and scenarios I may come across. If someone called for someone to fix there computer, would I go and fix there computer, by myself as if I was a full-time employee? Or would I have to be supervised?

I need to know some of this because I am debating weather to do a course or an apprenticeship! I will be doing this next year.

Also, if you did an apprenticeship a few years ago and you now work, what do you work as and did the apprenticeship have anything to do with you getting this job?

Preferably someone who has done an apprenticeship in an office environment.

I know a lot to ask, and one person may not be able to answer them all. But hopefully, I get all the answers I want.

Thanks in advance!

Contact the apprenticeship employer. They should give all the information. All jobs are different.

But the general idea, if you worked in anything to do with apprenticeships, like construction and you did the labor, as well as the guy you are working with. Then I'm pretty sure it would be the same as IT. I'm probably wrong. :L And yeah, I will do that! Thanks for a quick reply!
