You can't even compare the two. If you travel a lot then you should get a laptop, otherwise get a desktop. But a laptop isn't built for gaming at all. Sure there are some brands like Alienware that build them but you'd get a much better desktop gaming rig for the same price.

I love that you are comparing a laptop to a "pc". They are both PC's. PERSONAL COMPUTERS. Macs are also PC's. I prefer a desktop, so I can actually upgrade it. Also, Lets say I spill a glass of water on the keyboard, I can replace the keyboard and not the whole unit.

There's a lot of laptops beside alienware's gaming laptop...which are awesome on gaming.
