Unity 3d
#1

Anyone experienced with Unity 3d? I want to do something like a free game project in Unity. I know how to use unity very well, and I'm experienced with JS and MonoDevelop; I'm just not talented in creating models, materials, textures and shaders. Thoughts?

I suggest Unreal Development Kit, it's like Unity 3d but uses it's own scripting language and has a built-in graphic editing software.

If you stick to Unity 3d, use Blender to make your models, Blender is free and very powerful graphics software.

I didn't ask for suggestions on what 3d modeler to use. I asked if someone wanted to start a game project with me...

You asked for thoughts, not for a partner in crime.

Anyhow, no luck here, I do work with Unity every once in a while for a personal project or school project but models are usally presented by our fellow 3d artist students. There are plenty of sites that offer free 3D models that you can use on your projects, I am sure there will be something that you can use. Either that or use them as placeholders untill you find someone.
