Hey guys,

Some of you may know me under another name, some might not but we'll skip the introductions. I'm pretty much planning a new idea, and before devoting my time to it- I'd like to get your opinion on it and get the community's input before proceeding.

Anyway, my idea is this:

So a cop server to join the dozens of others, but with a bit of a storyline? (That will be spoilt for those that play after the first wave, I suspect).

Just make sure your grammar and writing is up to scratch, few things in sa-mp are more annoying than bad examples of both. Especially if you are trying to be story-driven.

Understandable, however it's based more around the amount of time you play rather than the time the server's online. I haven't really planned the progression stage of each individual character yet but it's being discussed.

This would get extremely annoying to play online with the 1000 other trolls. Good luck to you though.

You'd need a really good test such as LSRP. Not as difficult for the newbies though.

Just to make sure they can RP, and not an automated one, a manual one.

One that admins can check themselves, cancel / accept them and in they go.

If you'll let anyone play - Sorry, I for one won't give my vote.

You've got a nice idea here, don't waste it.

I'd prefer your idea if you added a more competitive feel. Add a second career, "criminal" who also has different levels (from snitch to worlds reownable bankrobber!) and tasks so it's not only police members, however be strict upon this because some people might just DM people because they are thug and convicted criminals.

Understandable. I was going to have like a system that allows individual people to play their part in random situations. Their involvement could be anything from a victim, suspect or a witness and so forth. Thus, improving their overall state and their involvement state.
