Xbox 360 power adapter cable change?
#1

I just moved to the UK, and I have a US xbox 360 slim, I still have the power brick and everything. My friend here has a power cable that will fit the US power brick (it is from his UK xbox). Can I plug in the UK cable to the US power brick then plug it like I normally would into my 360? Or will that fry the power adapter or xbox? Thanks!!

I would advise not to play around and buy US power cable :P

Better safe than sorry.

You should look at the transmitter. Most likely it'll say it supports charges from 110V - 230V. USA uses 120, Europe generally 220. So if it says what I wrote, it'll work. If it doesn't say so, and you still connect, the transmitter will explode.

Hold it in your hands for one minute after connecting for safety reasons, though. If it somehow doesn't work out too good, it'll heat up very fast (so you don't have to wait hours).
