Power adapter change?
#1

Hey, Well, I moved to the UK, All our chargers are for the US and such. If I buy my Acer Aspire 5534 a charger here, Will it work? Or blow my laptop? Same with an HP DV6? And my Xbox 360 Slim, Can I just buy a power supply here and it will work? Or will it also blow my 360? Thanks.

It must work...
Anyway the think you are need is:

Frequency (50HZ in Europe)
Output voltage must be same (if its under 10 volt than +- 2 volts will be fine)
Input voltage must be the same (Europe 220 volt) It must be same or a bit less cos if its higher you have risk to burn the charger/adapter and that way it can burn your laptop or whatever.

Just look on the adapter you will find everything there.
Anyway you can ask people work in a store where yuo buy adapter they will know will it work (I suggest you to bring adapters from USA so they can check voltage and such)

I just found my old US charger, it says 240 on it on input, 50/60 HZ, and 19v=3.42, Can I just find/get another cable that fits it?

If its from the same company, ofcourse it will work.. If you already have one with the same amount of Volts use that if its by the company or not so long as it fits (Also you moved back to England?)
