I've read quite a lot of threads in this forum about this error message, yet nothing worked so far. I get this message when I try to connect to my friends server:
as you can see I have 0.3d client and here:
it shows that he has 0.3d server, so versions shouldn't be an issue. I can connect to my server that uses 0.3d and other servers without problems, so it's not my client. He doesn't have any antivirus software installed, port 7777 is forwarded in router settings and windows firewall is turned off. Yet everyone that connects to his server keeps getting that error. I can see that his server is turned on because obviously client shows all the info in the pic above, and he's using Windows 7 to run it, hope that's enough information.
