Well I was creating a textdraw with the string like "*Boom*" , but the *'s were replaced with &'s.
I tried using \*, but of course it does not feet the way of textdraws which is not like \n, but ~n~ . How should it be done?

The fonts used for textdraws don't support many special characters; there's not much you can do about it.

I have not done this in a while, but last i checked [ or ] , make stars. Correct me if i'm wrong.

You have to use square brackets. So in your case it will be "[]boom[]".
