SA:MP wiki www.
#1

Try clicking this link:

www.wiki.sa-mp.com

Doesn't work. Now try this one:

wiki.sa-mp.com

Why does it not work with www? Can this be fixed please because I'm getting rather annoyed that when I link people to the wiki I forget about this.

Because, wiki.* is a sub-domain. You cannot use www. as you stated yourself, either use nothing at all or use http://

This isn't an issue at all, but a way round it would be for them to add a "www.*" subdomain to the wiki.* subdomain itself, and redirect the www.* root to the wiki.* root. However, this is pointless and in all honesty, a waste of time!

I'm sorry, but I don't really get the point on this thread.
Should we feel sorry for you?
Don't use the www. at subdomains.
Most domains are accessible without the www.

www. don't work at this forum too.

I don't see the problem, just adjust yourself to it like i've done.

It's a standard for www to only be enforced on the main domain, not subdomains.

You can simply use http://wiki...

www.sa-mp.com is the main site and the wiki is just a sub domain so is the forum.
