Hi guys,i wish to know if someone can help me out on this.And dont tell me "Make a support ticket"...i did,the answer was "Try it out"

...Well,if i can have an answer, before having the work and the possibility of not working...i prefer xD

So,here's the problem.

I run SFM site hosted in KingJ,they have the mod_security activated(an apache feature) wich blocks some of my modules if they contain "id=" in the URL.After sending a Support ticket i was told they wouldnt disable it.

I then tried to contact Volt Host support and the answer was the one at the first line in my post.
I wish to know if someone using Volt-Host knows if its possible to de-activate that feature there.

SMF will run fine on our web hosting, hence why our forums (SMF) are hosted off the same service.

If this is the case,then i'll finnally move my services to Volt-Host ^^ Problem is i have 30GBP in my KingJ Account funds wich cant be withdrawed -.-'

Yes, our support forums run SMF on the same web hosting service without a problem (you can verify this yourself @ forums.volt-host.com). Your site will be fine

I have had prior experience running a Simple Machines Forum through Volt Host's web-hosting. It works absolutely fine, actually it seems to work better than other hosts due to the increased speed of Volt's server.

I'm currently with Kingj and running 2 SMF forums. I have no problem at all.

I didn't mean to say there is a problem with other hosts, but my forums seem to be faster and more stable at Volt than elsewhere. Anyways, let's stay on topic.

I have 2 too,yet.

There are some SMF modules that at KingJ will give you a "501 Method Not Implemented" becouse the mod_security feature installed,blocks them.


Anyway,gonna start moving my forums+my other services today to Volt-Host ^^.Thanks for the info iLinx.
