This has happened hundreds of times to *******. It's just that you were all on the same server, other servers were fine. They all have hiccup's at some points in time.

I'd actually just finished annotating a video when this happened to me! D:

I clicked published, and it completed perfectly - went to play it on the video page and BANG, down. Comments, Ratings and the View Counter are still down, just to let you know.
