Hello people.
My server got attacked by something called DDoS.
I'm not really sure what it does, but it think it sends unlimited information to my server or something.
Anyway, my server is running on Windows.
Is there any way i can protect my self from DDos?

I have like a private server. Specially dedicated to hosting websites and game servers.
It's really getting bad, because my server's ping hits 3k ping once i leave it on for 5 minutes...

Well, there are some 'protections' against DDOS, note the '' as honestly I never found a protection that really makes it impossible to get DDOS'd. I'm afraid the only thing you can do is effectivly range ban the attackers and turn off the server while the attack lasts.

Block the offending IP's using IPtables, or get a new IP.

Block or range ban block the ips affecting you,
it wont stop the attack but it should make the damage a bit less, depending on how hard you're being hit
(meaning how many machines and network speed)
