Electricity strange...includes a wall and me touching it
#1

Well let me explain, earlier on my topic about a non functional key on my laptop's keyboard, I said that sometimes whenever I touch any part that is iron from my laptop, I get electrocuted, well here is the thing, I was getting electrocuted because I was actually with my feet touching the wall in front of me, when I raised my legs on the computer's chair, I could touch any part of the laptop I wanted, didn't feel anything. Aso when I'm with my feet on the ground, nearby the wall, and touch the laptop, I get electrocuted, but whenever I take em back near my chair, still touching the ground, i don't feel electricity nearby the laptop anymore.

I know there is a logical explanation, but I want to hear it, because I have no clue how to work with electricity.
Just to mention: My main electricity supply is not grounded, that's one of the reasons, but what i don't understand is why it only happens when I'm nearby the wall with my feet.
Just to mention another thing, after the wall there is my bathroom, i have a feeling that the steam that's coming from he heat inside the bathroom causes electricity, as I have a socket right inside that wall.

That is really strange, I have done electrical engineering, for a short time (I forgot half, lmao). Lets just try to get the logical explanation, by going through how electricity works.

I have no idea, where the elecktricity comes from you say it happens when you touch the iron part of the laptop, my bet would be they fucked something up inside, causing the iron part to be under elekctricity (you said you also had a problem with the shift key, so I would recommend going back to the store). Anyway, electricity, needs a way to the ground, so it looks for the shortest way, the most logical reason you don't get a shock when you lift up your feet, is because the electricity can't go anywhere, so you won't get electrocuted. (probally your chair has some rubber parts aswell, just a guess). As far as I know, the, grounding point (sorry if thats the wrong naming in English) is in the bathroom, so, I can imagine you get elecktrocuted when you have your feet near it. May I ask what is the ground made of? Is it just concrete, or wood, stone?

Also how does the elecktrocution feel? Is it really like you get a full 240 volts through you, or do you barely feel it?

Lol, you have really weird problems

Did you wear any shoes or socks when you got electrocuted? Was it a big load of electricity?
Maybe you can put a piece of rubber between the wall and your feet (rubber won't let electricity pass).

That's the problem here, my electricity grounding has been destroyed among the part of the house that has been demolished so we can build the new house. The electricity itself doesn't have a way to disperse.
I'm not really sure it's the laptop's problem but rather my whole electricity supply is fucked up.
It happens on all electrical appliances in my house. My TV receiver for example is near the same wall, I get electrocuted if I touch it...

It's really strange, now I'm afraid of anything that is metalic and electric...

You have no earth on your mains supply? that could be potentially lethal...

It all depends on the surfaces your feet are touching but it sounds like the laptop has something wrong with it and is finding a way to earth through your body. Also the fact that you are not dead backups up the theory that it is a small voltage from the battery or even static...

Edit: because you you f**king know about it if 240 goes through you

I was working naked on a computer once. Turned on a naked motherboard 5 year old POWERSUPPLY and got 350 watts rushed into hospital, theory here: get an electician, or wear shit on your feet

I'd just like to note something,

electrocution means enough wattage of electricity going through your body, it fries your heart and stops it, causing death.

I damn hope you aint dead from that.

No, it's a low electricity, I feel it, but hurts as well. Whenever I touch it I get scared and jump.

I must find something to lay down the floor so I can lay may feet.
