Im sorry with this is the wrong place but, Who do you think is right?

Me and my friends got in an argument about my website,

The Pawn Symbol that is in flash animation. He thinks i stole from him because in his signature he has the same thing.

When i showed him the website he pointed that out but in my defense:

1. I never knew the pawn symbol was in his signature

2. I just got the pawn symbol off of ****** Images

3. I thought it would look the best in my website.

He then said i could of used another image like this



But as you can see its way to small and doesn't look good.

He said that i should of asked him to use the image but like i said before i never knew he has it too!

Who is right?

Should i remove the Pawn piece from the images?

Tell him to dont act like a kid, the pawn image is not his, whoever created the pawn is the owner not him, so tell him to go away.

Haha, he's probally not older then 12.. Unless he made the pawn symbol, and has the exclusive copyright, he cannot demand you anything, so just ignore him.

lol.. you dont need to get premission from someone to copy part of his picture..
imagine if all will have ask to get premission to copy 1 little part from his picture(on ******)

Actually you do need an approval from the author to use it. You especially need a confirmation to edit it! Read a bit online, just because it's in ****** images it doesn't mean you can simply use it and do stuff.

Anyways, what a ... weird topic?
