Hey! After getting my new computer I'm pretty much unable to play GTA San Andreas, it only works properly on 800x600 resolution. If I put it any higher, it has these weird slowdowns, as in sometimes it works almost normally and then it goes to slow motion. Can't explain it. I have Radeon HD 4300, 2GB Ram and Intel Dual Core E5700, so it shouldn't be hardware problem, since I can run games like COD7,L4D etc. on maximum. I even tried running GTA with only 1 core, still the same crap. :/

Turn off analyze.

I had this problem too. You just need to set the "AFFINITY" in Task Manager (ctrl + alt + delete) to all cores.

Same problem, still runs very sluggishly on resolutions higher than 800x600. It did make it a bit better though.
