Sorry if this is in the wrong section!

I used to play SA:MP 4 years ago but I stopped but have recently come back to the game, I got out my GTA and installed it and SA:MP (latest). But now I face a major issue. When I load up the game my game speed in incredibly fast as is the player speed, weather change and the clock speed in the top right. I joined a few servers like this to ask for help in the chat but had no success, I ended up being banned from 1 (that's fair as I know this is not normal) so im back at the forums after 4 years to ask for all your help. How in gods name can I get my game speed(player speed?) back to normal, some sort of data file or .cfg I need to change? This is relay annoying me and I would like to play the game normally like anyone else. Any help in getting rid of this issue is highly appreciated! Thanks a lot!

^ before anyone asked, I added a no-cd patch if that could be anything to do with the problem?

CTRL + ALT + DELETE

Goto process.

Find gta_sa.exe right click it and choose "choose processatribute" and only leave one box unchecked.

I did that and that does not work, I have 2 processors and GTA is only running on 1. Anything thing else it could be?

Anyone? this is getting loads of views but no help! I have also tried re-installing

I will suggest you to re-download GTA SA from another link, and install it if its work then your old GTA SA had problem if it still not working then re-install your samp, try it and tell me if its work.

EDIT: If you are using hacks in game, remove them please.

I have already tried both, the first one I had did have hacks on the game (I believe this is one of them) but I un-installed it and installed a fresh copy! Is it some how possible the hacks from the previous version could have stayed? and I dont hack, this is why im asking for advice on how to get rid of this monstrosity!

If you are using hacks im sure you are using / was using , an old version of hacks, unistall it and try if its work.

With a fresh copy, no mods not even samp, go into single player and see if it is still fast, also delete your Gta San Andreas folder from My Documents.
