I was wondering what specs my pc would need to host a 50 slot server?

100MHz cpu and 64mb ram would be sufficient... you getting a VPS or hosting at home?

Depends on the gamemode. You could have bad timers and be using up way more than 100MHz as suggested. It depends how optimized it is. But anyways you really do not need much of a PC to host a 50 slot server. I suggest at least 1.5GHz and 512MB Ram if VPS or something along those lines.

Well, if i could get my old computer backup and running i'll be running a server off it. But i have a question concerning this, internet speed would be the real killer right?

yes because your server has to send data to the players back and forth
