I am currently on free hosting. My domain for my forum is http://michaelclark1.byethost7.com/forum. I wish to add a paid domain to it. When I do my DNS settings and it's updated. Will my paid domain automaticly be www.<domain>/forum ??

no it will be www.urdomain.com you can redirect it to www.urdomain.com/forum using the cpanel (Redirects)
