hello everyone

my problem is even i change resolution, draw dist. etc my fps stays around 40 (640x480 or 1440x900 doesnt matter)

and ive good hardware

AMD Phenom II x4 955
Sapphire HD 6870
samsung hd103hj hdd
OCZ DDR3 PC3-10666 Gold Edition (4gb ddr 3 cl9)
ocz fatal1ty 550w
bla bla

btw im using windows 7 32 bit (with 64 bit i was gettin around 30 fps -_-")

i tried to change compatibility to win xp sp2, vista sp2 but my game crashed everytime i tried

currently 1440x900 Resolution,Full draw distance,3x anti aliasing im using latest drivers released for hd 6800 series
and i didnt change anything from catalyst control panel (use application settings)

i dont have heat problem its all ok i checked my graphics card with msi afterburner (in game) heat was around 55-60 C
and ive TT Contac29 cpu cooler

so how can i get more fps?

p.s:i changed my game folder name to Gta San Andreas 2

still same didnt work

dont suggest re-installing the game cuz i dont have sa dvd atm (as i mentioned above i tried to run samp in 64 bit as well so re-installing wont work imo)

and somehow fps limit doesnt work for me

i set frame limiter off

ive only detailed radar mode

and i dont have malware on my system (at least i was having same problem after clean OS install)

If you run 3x AA, 1440x900 and DrawDistance MAX, you're happy! My friend has 4GB RAM, 3.02 GHZ Core 2 Duo and Radeon HD 50** and if he uses thoose settings, he would get around 20 FPS, maybe 15.

Anyhow, I woulnd't really call 40 FPS slow. In my book, everything above 25 is good till great.
Maybe if you turn off AA. That usually tends to eat FPS, so...

Sometimes FPS limiter can be a good thing, so try turning it on, and settings it to something a tad lower than 100. You shouldn't be complaining about 40 FPS!!

sometimes i see 20 fps (so much players on the screen) with that hardware and i can play gta IV around 40 fps with that settings as well (no aa lol but still 1440x900)

and even i close aa or change resolution to 800x600 my fps doesnt go up this is my real problem
