Problem with port-forwarding
#1

Hi, I have a ZyXEL router (P-2602HWT-F3) and I tried to portforward it. I've followed all the steps carefully on the port-forward site. And I've searched ****** for a solution, but couldn't find one. I've tried to turn off my firewall and antivirus, it still won't go online. Anyone else had a router similar to this which may help me? Or do you maybe have some solution? Any help is appericated.

Cheers,
[03]Garsino.

http://www.pcwintech.com/common-prob...ort-forwarding, Keep in mind some ISP's block port 80. They don't want their users hosting websites. But not all ISP's do.

Yes, I've been on that page. Also, I'm not planning to host any website. I am planning to host a SA:MP test server on port 7777.

Hm....., i had this problem with my D-Link, Icontacted my ISP, portforwarded for me, Try this (I got it of PF Forums)

#1 Check the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, and DNS Server(s) on your computer.

a) For example if you are on Windows XP, go to Start -> Run

b) Type in cmd and press enter.

c) In the window, called the command prompt, type in ipconfig /all and press enter.

#2 On portforward.com there is text that says Your external IP is

#3 If that same IP Address is on your computer:

a) What is the software firewall on your computer?

b) What program are you trying to allow users from the net to connect to?

#4 If that IP Address is not on your computer, go to the Default Gateway that you found on your computer.

#5 Type in the user name and password. By Default, the user name and password is admin

#6 In the router go to Setup -> LAN Setup

#7 What is the Starting and Ending IP Address?

#8 In the router go to Advanced -> Advanced LAN

#9 If you do not have at least two game consoles behind your router, turn off UPnP in the router.

By game console, a special type of computer with no keyboard or mouse (and it/they are usually connected to a TV).

#10 In the router go to Status -> Device Info

#11 If the IP Address that is displayed on portforward.com is not in there, please report back that fact.
