What I basically want is my server to be public. I've visited many forum threads on this and none of have given me any help so i decided to post my own. I've had a friend type in my IP to connect to my server but when he typed it in he couldn't connect. The thing is that I CAN connect to MY server.

I used 7777 as my port, so i thought that was the problem. So I used a Port scanner to scan my open ports and only one port was open, Port 80. So in my server.cfg i changed port 7777 to 80 and asked him to connect again but it jus wouldn't work.

So i went to www.typefish.co.uk/samp-conn a SA-MP connection and masterlist checker and my server was listed:

Online: No
In Internet List Yes
In Hosted list No

And I'm still wondering why my server is not online!

What Do I have to do to make my server go online?

My Direct Internet connection is connected to a router and that router is connected to another (but i dont need the second router) if this info helps...

Use the port 7777 by portforwarding , If you don't know how to portforward , Goto start , Click "run" , Type in cmd

Then type in in the black box "ipconfig"
There will show 3 lines with your IP , 1 of this should be a continuestly number like 244.244.244 or something , Use the top one , Type in that port in your internet box enter thingy and it should ask you for a password , If you dont know it try 'admin'

If it still doesn't work then he may be having difficulties with SA-MP ,For instants If he copy and pasted the IP it may not work , I dont know how it happens to me to.

Or it can be his internet :\ Since you are online , Can i have your server IP and see if i am able to join?

Ya i was waiting for you to do so , Goto Application Gaming or something like that and type in 1 of the boxs "7777"
And enable it , Close down any other port's and then ask your friend to try .

No good still cant connect. But now i've disconnect my routers and is currect connected directly to my modem...

I can connect perfectly fine, my friend cant but now like i said im connected directly to the modem so no more routers.. so any other things i can try?

Use the IP from ipconfig not from a site that show's you an IP
