Hey, just got SA:MP a couple of days ago, and so far it's great!
But, I'm wondering what happened to the more "popular" game modes (as said by the wiki) such as rivershell. It seems the only game modes that are around now are stunting, Cops and Robbers (somewhat rare) and random names like "Call of Duty" (wrong game people!).

So, where did these game modes go, and do servers still use them?

Just a tips for you: There are alot of RolePlay servers that are GF edits (GodFather). Dont waste your time by connecting to those. Its just too many of those and they sucks. People does not know how to make their own GMs these days, so they all go GF.

I cannot suggest any specific GM or server for you, as I never play on other servers than my own. So you could at least take the tips with not trying to go on a GF server

Well, I don't really play any roleplay servers, but yeah, that seems to be what fills up the servers. In my opinion, roleplay servers aren't really that fun at all. I'll keep looking for those few servers with CTF styled GMs (it seems like the most fun GM); but I just wanted to know if any still existed, since I haven't seen anything.
