Power Mac G5 Eh? Finally someone else still has Power Mac.

Anyway the Power Mac G5 has been known to do this.

Here is a list of the things, you need to try and find which is your problem:

1 blink = no RAM installed
2 blinks = incompatible RAM types <-----THIS IS YOURS TRY THIS
3 blinks = no good banks
4 blinks = no good boot images in the boot ROM (and/or bad sys config block)
5 blinks = processor is not usable

try and replace your RAM/MEMORY

Might of been but you should of tried this first:

on the Logic Board there is a reset button, somewhere close to the BiOS battery, press that, and it resets EVERYTHING, it works magic on some dead macs.

i remember i used to have a iMac G3 Graphite DV/SE Slotload 700 Mhz, it was FAST as hell for being 8 years old. but sadly the Monitor in it went bad, and after using an external LCD hooked up to its VGA port for a while it got kinda annoying.

but now ive got an Macbook Air, Macbook Pro Titanium, Powermac G4, Powermac G5, and an iMac Intel i got just last month.

yes i know, i LOVE macs.

Well obviously. Any computer needs to RAM to startup.

Try this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2248?viewlocale=en_US and see if you can find the correct type of RAM.
