i just downloaded the SAMP, and when i try connect to a game it closes.

i choose a host name, click connect, all loads up, new game.... then a loading bar comes up in the bottom left, after which the games almost immediately goes off.

is there something i am missing? why is this happening? why cant i get ingame?

1. Have you patched your SA?
Search "san andreas downgrader" in ******, download a program, it will have like a yellow circle as the icon. Run it, patch SA and that may work.

2. If that fails, try going to My Documents --> GTA San Andreas User Files, you'll find a file either called "gta" or "gta.set". Delete that file, and then try it.
