hi i want to do this with vista, but i cant find the place i can do this
#now go to ADVANCED tab. there u will se your net connection. Most probablly it will have a nike-like check on its left side. uncheck it. Also hit settings and then ADD. Now u have to enter a name(again "samp") and the ip taht your PC has(u should have done you IP from dinamic to static 'tll now) enter that ip there, then 7777 in both boxes below and hit OK. Do it again but this time instead of TCP select UDP. hit OK. If u have the IP well configured by now, this could be helpfull. It helped me, though...... c ya---------> [BJT]Namtih

1) Double click networking icon in the System Tray (bottom right)
2) Click "Network and Sharing Center"
3) Under "See Also" click "Windows Firewall" (bottom left)
4) Click "Allow a Program Through Windows Firewall"
5) You should be able to figure it out from here

i have already aloowed samp stuf through firewall, but there is no settings tab in there
I also have found Windows Firewall with Advanced Security , but cant find the place where i can add service with ip

Just disable the firewall of Vista, nobody needs it.
