Just a couple more ideas for you.

Avoid using wood textures they are way overused so use them sparingly and thoughtfully
Layer your walls with a lower object texture think paint on top wallpaper on bottom
No tacky bullshit objects like http://dev.prineside.com/en/gtasa_sa...61-fire_break/ ask yourself is someone going to have this in their house?

When you place the following texture
- beds
- Chairs
- Tables

If you do those three alone it will really show but I recommend doing as much as you can.
