What happened with that server? How did it go from being full and one of the top servers to not existing? when did it die and why?

Then came EuroGamerX or something and also went RIP in months and now it's just UIF which replaced that.

I think RoBo didnt want to keep it. I don't know if things went bad or what.
Impulse99 opened just before AS closed, and alot from AS went to Impulse99.

I still remember playing on AS and I switched to i99 myself because mostly every i knew switched.

Nemesis was the one who founded i99, but Madp took over and is the owner now (http://forum.impulse99.com/)

People get spread out to other servers, mainly GX and i99.

AS died in 2010.

Oh man, I remember that server. It was one of the first SA-MP experiences I've had, I miss those times.
