Scenario (for example, this isn't SAMP's lag comp, SAMP compensates bullets): A player runs.
That player's position and movement are sent to the server. It takes some TIME to get that information to the server. Then it takes even more TIME for that information to be sent to all other players. It takes a bit more TIME for that information to be displayed.
If you haven't noticed I'm emphasizing the word "time". All of this time is lag. The time is compensated. "How" it is compensated is a completely different question.
