I've posted a thread about this before, but it seems that this function does not call correctly. The object editor will display correctly but when the saved button is pushed it does not do anything.

The question still remains: Is this a SA:MP issue or are we simply doing something wrong?

This is not a sa-mp issue as far as I know, but rather one bad hook thru includes you have, I had this problem with my main gamemode then I tested it with a vanilla server it worked well.
I suggest you to go thru includes for this callback, check how they were hooked.

I'm no longer having this issue (It's a miracle) but when I did have it it wasn't through hooking the callback it was from having it in my gamemode period. It also wasn't used in any of my other filterscripts.

I've seen many people encounter this issue and I'm wondering if we can definitely pinpoint why it happens because nobody seems to know.
