I think his point was that no service is perfect, but if someone doesn't want to help, I agree that he should just refrain from posting.

Anyway, regarding your question, I think you need to study the market until you're sure of what you want.
You can ask every company about the location of their servers, then you can have an idea.

I for one, only had experience with new hosters and they offered me full support in solving my issues, because there weren't many clients. I honestly can't say who has the better customer service.
