If you take legal ownership on that name (aka you tradrmark it) you can force them to change the name
Otherwise you can't do anything about it
What they did is not cool, bu it ain't illegal either.

Here's another piece of advice. Don't make anymore deals like this. It's a shameful way to gain players and it's not very effective, as you can see. If you want a strong and reliable community, work for it.
