It really depends on the structure which implies the overall performance of the gamemode being used. But I guess you are good to go with a minimal spec Linux VPS to host a small player-base server for a start.

The server is depent on the Data. How long , heavy etc. If your Gamemode and Filterscript low ( small ) Then you can open your server in 256mb ram, 1.5+ghz Processor.
