What do you think? Are them just coincidences?

Obviously a number of the characters are influenced by actual celebrities that were active during the making of this game. Asking if it's a "coincidence" makes it sound as though you suspect Rockstar has joined the illuminati.

Hahaha! Yeah I noticed this in MTA- There's a skin section in the selector menu with celebrities. I think there's a few others, but I thought the Fresh Prince one was hilarious, never even noticed at the time.

I think in GTA V there's some stuff about doppelgangers as well as the rest of the series. Here's some interesting articles about it :

It is a coincidence, since 4/5 of the listed celebrities live in Los Angeles or were born there. Madd Dogg looks too fat to look like Snoop Dogg, and the barber was an obvious one .
