Multiple Server Project

What is This?
The Multiple Server project is basically a SA-MP server project that will allow players that join to design a server of there own without any scripting knowledge. Of course, things are limited, but i am going to take this as far as i can. If a player does not want to join a server, they can join one already created. At the moment, this is basically a project for me to keep busy when bored. This probably wont be released or be made into a server. I basically made this thread for discussion and ideas. I think this is allowed in this section - if needed, a moderator can move/delete this thread.

Players will use a main menu to edit most of the config - they will get options such as Add Plugins, Set Max Players, Set Mode, Set Server Name, and more. A built in anticheat can be customized for each server, or completely disabled.

To manage the server, the owner would be able to access a web panel, where bans and other things can be managed.

To add vehicles and objects, the player will use a ingame object editor. To add vehicles, a the creator of the server can spawn vehicles and then use a save command. All of this will be stored in a database. There will be tables for objects, servers, players data, vehicles, and other important information.

What do you think?

Sounds pretty cool, also adding customization of building data. Let them add entry data. Then maybe expand it to have robberies but that isn't needed atm. Players may be able to polygonize buildings and sort. Adding data for necessary future features.

Pickups also with the in-game object editor. Allowing most types of pickups, weapons, health, armour, information and cash.

Inventory system somehow.

Thats all I got for now, this is actually a pretty cool project.

Nice idea, at least for people who don't bother to code and just want a small server to enjoy with their friends or something. But i got a question, how do "Install Plugins" & "Remove Plugins" actually work?

I do not intend to be negative. However, isn't this more like the "fully dynamic" scripts we see lately ? Would you please explain more you point ? Waiting for your reply!

If a server owner wanted to add a irc channel, they could add a "plugin" rhat would echo their chat to a irc channel.
plugins are basically features that server owners can delete or add into a server.

Nope lol

But anyway, nice idea, I have been thinking of something along the lines of this for a while but not really had time to put any thought into it. Hit me and my team up for a potential collab if u want

This seems like a nice idea, although I'm not sure if the current features would qualify for an actual 'server - builder' or something, it's pretty much a combination of FSs from the forums right now. (of course, please take this as constructive) If you plan on adding features like Kar suggested, making it something like the builder for GTA 5 (for GTA: O, isn't it a drop drag sandbox editor?) THAT would be really great, and I'd be more than happy to help if it's open for some. Cheers

Just a update to this project.

I have been working on this for the past few days, and i have done the following. The IRC plugin has been configured, and any server that has this will get bots in a channel that echo chat, connects/disconnects, and more.

I also finished making a minigames plugin, where the owner can "script" minigames with different weapons, spawnzones, and other rules.

@RajatPawar - this does not use any filterscripts. Some "drag and drop" features are the object editor, vehicle editor, and pickup editor. I will add other features like this in the future.

Seems good. I would like to see more work put into it.

I don't have any ideas either atm, sorry.
