Hey, every time I try to load GTA SA, it always freezes on the NVIDIA screen, but you can just about see the NVIDIA logo. If I run in compatibility mode for windows 98 or XP, it crashes during the actual loading screen. I've searched around and I still can't find any solutions thats fixed my problem Are there any other fixes to try? Even if its a temp fix..

Could you tell me the situation of your GTA SA folder?
Is it a legal copy? Is it modded in any way?

If it is modded: Reinstall the game.

Try deleting the gta_sa.set file
