When I join a server, it loads correctly up to 100%, but when it completes, I just get a black screen as it if is transitioning, but when I check task manager it says the game is not responding. so I have to end the process. is this caused by something? or is Windows 7 simply incompatible with SAMP?
The game version is 0.3x
The only mods I have installed is first person view, skin changer, the army base mod, and the save anywhere mod.

Try re-installing the game and joining a server without any mods, then if it works slowly add back in your mods until you get the problem again (If you do get the problem again you know that mod doesn't work, but if all mods work on the new install of SAMP you know it was your installation of samp that was broken)
