So all these companies host servers for money, but is it possible to host one myself? I mean like a 24/7 one without having to pay or keep your computer on 24/7. How much will it cost? Will it be hard for a 14 year old?
Thanks
Erm. You can buy a 'server', but you still have keep it on 24/7, and you gotta have real good internet speed along with, enough money to pay for the electric bill..
EDit: fixed a long to along lol.

Yeah, you would need to purchase a server (A VPS or a dedicated server)
You could host locally, but that would require a nice internet connection, and a keeping a PC online 24/7.

A local server/ 24/7 pc doesnt pay out, because energy costs will be much higher than renting a server or even getting an hosted server. A VPS is cheap, and usually strong enough for medium size servers, setting it up also is easy, there are several tutorials here.
