I notice that the big servers have a lot of things including money, do they own there own shop and run everything inside that shop so people can join or is it some guy sitting behind a computer running a normal server. Do some of them even have there own company, how do they run there servers and i am talking about servers with 400+ players with different servers, eg samp and minecraft.
I just would like to know.

This isn't the brightest of questions, but it isn't stupid either.
Yes, a very small percentage of SA-MP/Minecraft/Any Game's servers are run by a company.
No, servers aren't run out of a store or an office. They are usually a couple guys that are friends in real life that run it from their own PCs.

Yeah, it kinda depends, but yeah... Most of the big ones have quality mappers and scripters. They generally just end up with enough money or already can afford the best hosting, web hosting and such, which is mainly why their sites look so good and have control panels.
Mostly though, SAMP isn't the best for making money, since most money is spent on hosting etc anyway, that not much profit can be made. Having said that, there are still some that do gain good profits and can sustain as a business. Most are just normal people doing out of either their own development and working out of their own coin-in-pocket. Lots of people like to just casually run a server to give them something to do in order to connect a community of people and have fun.
I feel sorry for those that do it for monetary gain. They shouldn't expect much, since SAMP has so much variety already and there are few communities with large enough player-bases, as I already said.

Take FoCo Gaming for example- an actual company, but it was designed to work around LS:RP. I doubt they have an "office" though.

True. I think they'd get as far as most SAMP hosting companies would get.

Mostly, it's one of us nerds sitting behind a desktop looking for some popularity in SA-MP.

My mind is asking this question too.
My mind always ask if SA-MP is run by company..
