Hey,I was thinking about this for a few days,I realised the sampgui.png file in our gta sa directory was the dialogs/text box etc. material,I decided to change its colors,well,I did it abit sloppy,so it doesn't look very pro,I must admit.

I just opened paint and turned everywhere to red,it looks ugly I know -.-

You can make better things,I bet.


But if you work on it professionally it can be something nice.

How to edit it?

Go to your sampgui.png file,back it up,then right click and edit it in paint/Photo Shop/Corel Draw

Useful for players that doesn't like the black color!

Kye said that the GUI is made up from art (that file) and internal code, so you can only half-edit it.

Anyways, i don't see anything while making the default GUI into a stylish design. It's just useless..

Anyway, there have been a ton of modifications of dialogs for a long time now. I believe there was a thread in Everything and Nothing board where people were posting Pokemon modifications and stuff (I think started by Guedes, or something like that).
