Hello everybody.I got problem with fraps.When I turn it on.Game start too much lagging.When I turn it off.Game work fantastic.In what is problem ? Can anyone helps me?

When recording you'll always notice a decrease in performance. There are really only two tips I can give you.

1. do not record on the same drive that is used for windows and your game, use an additional drive.
2. fraps is definitely not the best anymore, I haven't recorded anything in a while but guys I know use dxtroy and are very satisfied with it's performance and quality.

Fraps will make games lag, its cos it is using more processor usage then a actual game would.

They is other programs that you can use instead of fraps, I use a full screen recorder for recording games.

well, my pc is old and i can say that when i open fraps it laggs a little, you will have to close all other applications...then your game will be nice,

Why you dont try Dxtory.Its have more flexibility then fraps

I used to record with Fraps and I got 17 fps, the game was lagging so much and I couldn't do anything. When I stopped from recording, I got 60 fps and my pc is old and slow. I'll give a try on Dxtory as many of the users above said it's good and I will also try to use the first tip playbox12 said.

I love Fraps. but if you dont have a good PC to handle it, your going to run into issues with FPS.

I have 3 years old PC.
