ok i have a domain through crazydomains.com.au and i bought the dns package also now i set up the dns for samp.genx-gaming.net with the correct ip but when i try and connect the ip is the one from my webhosting which i got else where please help me

Does your server have a port? If it does, you have to put the port with it. Anything located on that IP can be used by that DNS future, there is no way you can go around that.

DNS changes usually takes 2 hours but can take up to 48 hours.

You don't need a port if you use the default port for that game...

If your using the default port, and have all the A records properly setup you should be ready to go and use the domain to connect.
