So recently GTASA doesnt want to save anything - game saves, savedpositions.txt, etc.

I tried the following:
- run as admin
- remove read-only permissions

anyone else had this issue?

Check "GTA SA Dir/data" for any signs of gta_sa.set
This happened to me before and they all got saved in there.
