Hello idiots all off you say this can create a big security hole insted of prevent hacking noobs! if a player join the server whits x name i dont say the name fore securty resons this x name isent suported by windows and the server will crash (only if you use fopen!) and this script checks the players name and kick the player if the mane is the x name !!! and linux supports all names thats why the x name will not crash a linux server so this name hack isent working on linux servers but linux servers are not unhackble there are more then this hack... So noobs stop spamming !!!

i am a server owner, but persons that crash MY samp server?
ehh lol, its hard to believe that with my 100 mB/s internet connection and my server computer that has entire memory for samp alone;

you should try to crash it, trust me, it wont work;

Here is a little tip for those who are checking the name on OnPlayerDisconnect, if you want this protection to work fine, change the joining persons name to for example InvalidName and OnPlayerDisconnect will now use InvalidName, so then check if the string = InvalidName and dont load anything up, thats a easy way to fix a filterscript to be working for them all, at least it should. Just didnt see this suggestion in this thread

Edit: maij, its not about memory, if a pawno progress, such as a function, is not finished, the whole script will pause, this will cause this error. If you would have any knowledge of pawn and understanding, you would have known that and could of prevent this dumb comment. anyways, if anyone feels necessary to remove my post, feel free.

Edit 2: To that error above, i see that you haven't included a_samp... lol

i forgot to mention afcourse that pawn DOES make a diffrence on crashing server, if the code isnt correct;
if this is the case that the compiler makes the problem, then afcourse, i was wrong;

but if it is a coding problem you dont need this fix, only the script would be needed to be fixed;

i never faced any problem while i test my own servers on safety in any possible way this also means with third party programs, for test purposes only )

anyways, my opinion is, good script + good computer + safety, sounds hard to believe to me that that makes a server crash;

but thats the case with me:, i dont know about you guys;

note to =[NT]Extremo: a comment is dumb if the post is there for no reason, which you might thought of my post: i wanted to state that i never faced a problem with my server, so feel free to point me out;

does its stop a ping attack?

i dont think so...

and i think this ping attack can crash linux servers to. ( i dont know what's the different, they have ip, internet, ping...)
