I read around a bit on the internet and found on NGG and there stood that it was permissible to use the old version of NGG RP is this true?

If that was posted by someone high-up in the NGG "authority chain" then yes. If it was posted by some random person on the forums, then no. It's best not to use the mode anyways. One it isn't very efficient and two a lot of people are getting sick of the edits nowadays.

I'm not aware of anyone who is allowed to run the NGG script, except maybe Calgon because he did some dev. work on it awhile back.
