Dear people,

Like some of the people around here already know, I'm working on a new project. I wouldn't say it's UNIQUE since people are screaming that word all-over the forums. Now, I'm creating a new map for my role-play server that is coming. My question to YOU is.. What do you think about this? Do you think that this will be a succes? Do you think that it will fail? Give your option, and tell me what you expect from all this. Because your opinion is something really importmant for me. Thanks in advance!

Wait - you ask if your roleplay server will be awesome/success because you are creating a new map?

Of course, it will be huge, it will blow everything away.




Maybe you should add what kind of map you are creating...

However, you should once set up a test server with that map: As far as I can see, it's not really nice. Maybe it's because the video sucks (sorry, I don't like the video). And it doesn't only depend on your map: The gamemode, players and the admins should be good and nice. If you have loads of non roleplayers, it won't be really a success (maybe you have then much players, but then it's not really roleplay). If you have shit admins (pro-abusers for example), not really much people will come back (so not so much players). If your gamemode is bad, it's not even nice to play.
Just wait untill you're done and you'll see

At the title: "What do you think about this idea?" - The idea is good, I only don't know IF your server'll be a succes

Thanks everyone for their opinion. I'm creating a new "city". It's not that -BIG- yet. But if the server is launched I'll keep updating the map with new parts and such. @Kwarde, give me some feedback on the video, what you don't like and such, the song, the editing, the clips etc. Because that will improve my "video skills". I don't care about the music, I have the sound of ******* disabled standard, unless if I wanna listen music offcourse
I don't like the 'flashing screens'. I'd like to see a video from bird view for example. Or atleast that I can see some parts a little bit longer. Now I see a street for about 1 or 2 seconds, and then another one comes up immediately. Kinda annoying (NOTE: That's my opinion!). The best part is starting at 0:45 somewhere :P. And then it's the end of the video already.

Alright, I understand your opinion. The next video is for you! The problem is the long-distance draw. It doesn't shows the "whole" street for example. Thanks anyways! And uh yeah.. DUTCH.

I thought the video was alright (Maybe it was changed by the time I viewed it?), but most people don't like the idea of watching a certain scene for too long (Police Dept as an example). A video is usually about a quick over view while if anyone wanted to know more, simply connect to the server or whatever & explore it themselves...

Yeah, I understand this. But since I cannot use SanAnStudios for ex. Or.. any users (since the server is still under construction) I can't really make a proper vid besides the map. Well thanks anyways!
