The point to think of is, if everyone has his/her own server then what's the point for the whole SA-MP while you can play with yourself all the day and no one joining the server? Isn't that just making the master server list more longer and hard to choose from?

So the main question is:
Why does each and everyone want his/her own server? If everyone has his/her own server then who will play in the other servers?

People think they can make a good server with a downloaded script and Noob/abusive admins. And they think they can earn money. But they are Wrong. A good server is 70% a Good/Unique Gamemode and 30% the admins and support for new players.

If you have an own server, you can create your OWN world where you are the MASTER.

This. That's what I love so much about scripting: You're the one in charge, you can add everything you want, do whatever you think is needed without boundaries, there simply are no limits. It's like being God, but on a smaller scale.

Reason Number 1: People think they can make the amazing server.
Reason Number 2: They think it's easy to do it.
Reason Number 3: They want to have max admin level and server control.
Reason Number 4: They were banned from other server, so they want their own one to be sure they only play with who they want.
Reason Number 5: My one, i wanted to know how to create it, and i created....

Some, like me, create it because they know what they are doing, with responsability to run it without stupid and kiddie problems.

My own reason was simply because I didnt want anyone else waste around 1000 hours on such server like PR-RP is. In other words I wanted to provide something better : - )

Just an example.

These days people are never satisfied with a server not of their own; either the admins are bugging them, or the playerbase, or perhaps that there is no /v or /car command that randomly pops out a vehicle...

Disagree. Even if u don't have a unique GM, admin team can make a great difference.

I have had this happen, Your server reaches 25 players. WOO!! Go the admins, Then they want to mess with them, They DM and the players go away and the server fails. Happens a lot.
