Basically I'm running a Linux server on my VPS and I've having trouble giving it the right permissions, I have a include in there to create a directory into scriptfiles then proceed to write in it by making .txt files except it doesn't give that folder the correct permissions, therefore it won't actually write anything to it, I know this for sure because when I used chmod on it, it then began to write the documents to the directory.

Is there any way to automatically give the folder permissions as it's not a viable solution to keep using chmod on it every time it creates a directory.
