How to DOUBLE your Internet Explorer and Firefox Speeds!
#1

FireFox & Internet Explorer!
Speed up Mozilla Firefox about 3-30x Faster!!!

If your a firefox lover like me then you should try this.

if you're running ff ultimate optimizer then some of this may already be done.

1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll
down and look for the following entries

network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time.
When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really
speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This
means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer.
Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0".
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages 2-30 times faster now.

Warning This Doesn't Work for ****** Chrome

Well, to be honest, I don't know anyone who likes IE. But I prefer Firefox because I'm not sure about what ****** does with my data, actually. I don't wanna start any discussion by that, it's just my personal opinion.

I like IE very much, well not ie 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 or 8, but IE9, it has some real speed improvements and the 32 bit version of ie9 is slightly faster in loading web pages than chrome on my laptop, although if I restart my laptop it takes a bit more time to fire it up comparing to chrome. however I never shut down my laptop so that isn't a problem for me, as a php programmer I always needed to have more browsers so my current list:
IE9,
Chrome,
FireFox,
and Nightly (Yes, that's a web browser!)

ontopic: this won't work for IE, where the hell did you get this from?
Also this method is known for a very long time, people should consider searching for more ways to improve speed instead of using the old good known ways everybody already should know.
