Did you chmod the directory?

Well, type "chmod 775 sampdirhere" into your ssh terminal.

server directory is auto chmoded once server is set up.

EDIT: If you are sure your configuration is correct, open support ticket so we can take a look into this issue.

Did you have a 0 after gamemode, so it would look like: "gamemode0" without the ""?

Yeah, But I think when you don't upload the correct plugin, the server will go up, but when you run it, it will spawn you in middle of the map, that what I think

actually if plugin function is being used by Gamemode then it doesnt start server and will show in console :-
something like "file of function not found"
