I have a PS3 and have recently bought a new TV that supports HDMI. I was wondering if I buy an HDMI cable, do I need to use the colored cables as well still ? (The red yellow white ones)
Also, how do you choose a good HDMI cable

No, you will only use the HDMI cable to recieve HD.
All cables are good, just make sure the speed is high. usually a $25-$40 dollar one is best.

Both HD video and audio are carried through the one HDMI cable. It's the only cable that you should need to connect to your television. Like cj said, make sure that you get a decent cable. Get one that has a high transfer rate. If you get a really cheap one, the signal may cut out or even become nonexistent.
